Another busy weekend gone and a chance to review what happened.
Friday night was out for a couple of drinks at the local followed by a slap up steak and chips at home. Diamonds are Forever was the next James Bond film in our list which both of us couldn't remember watching before although we must have. To be fair, it was one of the weakest and totally forgettable of the franchise.
Saturday was up for a 16.6km run down the canal, followed by preparing the short rib for the slowcooker. A spot of gardening in the community garden was next before heading home to clean and prepare for guests coming over for rugger and supper. The game was terrible to watch, although Ireland hopefully got a wakeup call after being totally monstered for most of the game.
Sunday required a trip out to Ikea for new curtains and couch cover (and of course, you can never just buy what you set out to buy), before stopping into Decathlon to look at winter running gear and new waterproofs for SWMBO. The rest of the day was watching rugger before heading to Rascals for a 90's music themed pub quiz. What on earth convinced us to go to a quiz about 90's music I have no idea. But the beers and pizzas made up for it.
