Another busy weekend just past. Friday evening kicked it off with a couple of Scraggy Bay's at the Saint (SWMBO stuck to the wine) and then back home to cook up a couple of ribeyes before setting down to watch Live and Let Die.
Saturday dawned rather dull and moist. I misread the rain forecast as being light rain, and headed out for my run without any wet weather gear on. Needless to say, it lashed from the moment I left the door and only let up as I got back. 18km completed at 06:10, which is a little slower than I wanted but still ok. Evening meal was chicken fillet burgers. The fillets had been marinading in Nandos marinade and came out perfect. We decided to go with the next James Bond and watched The Man with the Golden Gun.
Sunday morning involved tidying up around the house before setting out to choose the Christmas tree. Lovely weather to walk around before picking one and heading home to put it up and decorate it. To keep with the Christmas spirit, we watched Die Hard (which is most definitely a Christmas movie). Howth from Kilakee farm
