Way back in 2006, I was working on a project in Turkey which involved lots of travel to Istanbul for work. For one trip I needed to be in the office on the Monday, but flew out with SWMBO the week before so we could enjoy a long weekend doing the tourist bits of the city. It was blazing hot the entire weekend (even the local news channels were telling people not to go outdoors) and we spent as much time inside as possible.
